Depot was built by two people who know a thing or two about making magic happen.

One’s a BAFTA-nominated filmmaker, National Award-winning sound engineer, and lifelong musician. The other’s an award-winning restaurateur, marketer, traveller, and proud curator of everything that tastes, sounds, and feels better than the ordinary.

One knew how to make the stage sing. The other knew how to make the room feel like home. Together, they built a place where music wasn’t just background noise, and hospitality wasn’t just a transaction.

Together, they built Depot not as a cool spot, but as a living, breathing community space.

Where a queer identity isn’t a marketing hook, but baked into the culture. Where hospitality means knowing your drink and your pronouns. Where no matter who you are, or how you show up, there’s always a seat at the table and a track on the playlist.
